The bimetallic rotor flowmeter is a volumetric flowmeter. Its working principle is based on the energy of the fluid itself to drive the measuring element, and the flow value is directly displayed through mechanical coupling.
- High Precision and Good Repeatability: As a volumetric flowmeter, it has extremely high measurement accuracy, especially in the measurement of viscous media. The accuracy is usually ±0.5% or even higher.

- Compared with oval gear flowmeters: Both are volumetric and have similar principles. The bimetallic rotor (usually referring to the helical rotor) can handle larger flow rates, operates more smoothly, and generates less vibration and noise.
