Overcoming The Challenge Of Installing Top-Mounted Magnetic Flap Level Gauges With No Side Wall Openings
The display principle (magnetic coupling flap) of the top-mounted magnetic flap level gauge is exactly the same as that of the side-mounted one. The biggest difference lies in the installation position and the driving method of the float.
- Solves installation difficulties: underground storage tanks (such as buried oil tanks); containers where side openings are not feasible (such as due to structural limitations or the need for reinforcement when opening holes in pressure vessels); situations where there is insufficient space or obstacles on the side; spherical tanks and dome tanks where top openings are more convenient.
- No need to open holes in the pressure-bearing side wall of the container: for high-pressure vessels, this reduces the strength weakening and reinforcement costs caused by opening holes, and is sometimes safer and more economical.
- Facilitates centralized observation and maintenance: all components (indicators, remote transmission, switches) are concentrated on the top platform, making observation, wiring, and maintenance easier.
- Retains all the intuitive advantages of magnetic flap level gauges: clear red and white display, no power required, safe and reliable.
- Underground storage tanks: Liquid level measurement of underground gasoline and diesel storage tanks at gas stations (the most classic application).
- Spherical tanks: Spherical storage tanks for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), liquid ammonia, etc.
- High-pressure chemical containers: Side containers such as reaction vessels where it is not advisable to open multiple holes.
