The side-mounted magnetic flap level gauge is a liquid level measuring instrument that operates based on the principle of a communicating vessel and magnetic coupling.

• No Power Required, Safe and Reliable: Purely mechanical and magnetically driven, it does not require power supply and is intrinsically safe. It is suitable for flammable, explosive and other hazardous environments and serves as an important safety backup instrument (even if the DCS fails, there is still an indication on site).
• Simple Structure, Easy Maintenance: Without complex electronic components, the failure rate is low. The flip plates can be replaced individually.
• Large Display Range, Flexible Length Options: It can be manufactured from several hundred millimeters to over ten meters.
• High Temperature and High Pressure Resistance: The measurement tube and float can be fully sealed and welded with metal, capable of withstanding high process pressure and temperature.

Optional Remote Transmission and Switching Functions:

Remote Transmitter: By attaching a reed tube resistance chain or magnetostrictive sensor outside the measurement tube, the liquid level signal can be converted into a 4-20mA signal and transmitted to the control room.

Alarm Switch: By installing a magnetic float switch at a specific height, high and low limit alarms or interlock control of the liquid level can be achieved.
