Submersible Liquid Level Sensors Are Suitable For Deep Liquid Levels

A submersible liquid level sensor is an instrument that continuously monitors changes in liquid level by measuring the static pressure of the liquid. It is widely used in industries, water conservancy, and environmental protection, among which the static pressure type is the most mainstream.

A typical submersible liquid level sensor mainly consists of the following core components:

• Pressure sensor probe: Located at the bottom, it is equipped with sensitive elements such as diffused silicon or ceramics, directly contacting the liquid and sensing the pressure.
• Transmitter circuit: Amplifies the weak pressure signal measured by the sensor and converts it into a standardized electrical signal.
• Connection cable with a vent core: Transmits the signal. The internal vent tube enables the sensor to measure the "gauge pressure" relative to atmospheric pressure in real time, ensuring accurate measurement. The outer material of the cable (such as polyurethane or polytetrafluoroethylene) must be corrosion-resistant.
• Sealed housing: Usually made of sturdy materials like 316L stainless steel, it protects the internal electronic components and must have an IP68 protection rating to ensure long-term underwater operation.

Submersible liquid level sensors, with their mature principle, robust structure, easy installation and high cost performance, have become a reliable choice in many liquid level measurement scenarios. When dealing with corrosive media, high temperature and high pressure and other special working conditions, special attention should be paid to the matching of key parameters such as probe material and cable temperature resistance grade.
