Armored thermocouple, also known as sheathed thermocouple, is a solid combination formed by thermocouple wire, high-density magnesium oxide insulating powder and metal protective sheath through one-piece drawing. It can be imagined as a "metal cable" with thermocouple wire wrapped inside.
